At Last

At Last.  The name is a result of a year and a half of experimenting on one piece.  In the beginning when I first started really learning about mixed media, different texture mediums and adding embellishments, I decided to challenge myself with creating one piece of art with as many mediums and embellishments as I could think of but have it come out dramatic and beautiful.  Not an easy task!  The process taught me so much about composition, use of colors and how to make all of the different types of textures & embellishments work in harmony with each other as well as using different types of varnish to bring out some parts and subdue others.  This process also taught me to be brave and to follow my instincts.  After 18 months of creating this, AT LAST, it was finished and I was happy!
